EE Initiative
is a result of California's Green Action Team's implementation of Executive Order S-20-04
which calls for a 20% reduction in energy use by 2015 in the commercial
and public sector. EE Initiative
focuses on achieving energy efficient measures with commercial real estate professionals
through partnerships with Public Utilities. The
goal of achieving 20% savings in energy use is met through educating commercial real estate owners and property managers as to the value of energy efficiency, benchmarking of properties, sharing of successful measures with leaders in the industry and recognition programs.
